New Year, New Markets & New Items

It's January and there's plenty of 'New' in the air. From the start of a new year back on January 1st, with another new year just around the corner, to new markets planed for the year and plenty of new and exciting products in store.

2023 was a great year and we're excited for what's in store for this year. There's lot's lined up and plenty to celebrate, including an extra day for the leap year, the Olympics and Paralympics plus other events.

Make sure you're following us on our social media accounts to ensure you never miss out on all the latest news and info.

New Markets for 2024

Last April we had our first in person market stall at Burtonwood Spring Market, with a single table and a handful of products, we had a blast and truly enjoyed our day. So much so we've gone on to attend alot more markets and now feature regularly are several local markets.

This year we're excited to be spreading our wings and visiting new and exciting towns and markets, with several already planed and a few confirmed and already announced - including on February 18th at Warrington Lunar New Year.

We're also thrilled to announce that we'll be making regular appearances at the newly relaunched Walton Gardens Artisan Market. This monthly market is back for 2024 after the extensive refurbishment of the Old Riding School, with plenty of exciting small businesses lined up, including a mix of stalls & both food & drink offerings.

Organised by our friends at EventiveNW (Keep an eye out for more of their markets joining our line up) we're thrilled to be part of the team to relaunch this market and bring it back to life. The first markets on Sunday, March 3rd from 10am to 4pm.

Walton Gardens is fun for all the family, including your furry friends, with lots of activities for everyone to take part in and is a great way to spend a Sunday outside with the family - so be sure to pop along and pay us a visit and support small local businesses.

New Products

It's only January and we've already welcomed several new and exciting products into our range, with plenty more arriving on a regular basis. We've got lots of year round favourites as well as some seasonal stars.

When we launched back in 2020 our main focus was on wax melts. Whilst they're still part of our line up we're looking forwards to bringing them back to life and developing a complementing range of home fragrances - an opportunity which really lends itself to our increased monthly markets.

Returning Products

With Easter on the horizon we're excited to confirm that our popular Easter Bunny wax melters are back for 2024, along with some seasonal scents to compliment the melter.

Taking a quick look forwards to the autumn, Halloween is a fun time for many and last year our Ghosts where an exciting arrival. They'll be back this fall, including the Tealight/Incense Holder version.

Whilst Christmas may have only just passed, we're always in holiday planning mode (a condition of any small business 🤣) with thoughts on what to feature this year. A popular choice last year which sold out several times, our Gingerbread Incense Houses will be back for this year.

We're also pleased to confirm that the Incense Emporium will be making it's debut on the website. With over 40 sensational scents on offer, our eco-friendly incense is a great way to cleanse your home and fill it with natural aromas. You'll also find a great range of skis, catchers and accessories on offer.

The Incense Emporium will be open from February and will complete our transfer of all our range from Etsy onto the site.

Have your say!

With the new year it's always a great time to reflect on what's gone great and what can be improved. We always welcome feedback and suggestions on what we can do better, what you'd like to see in stock or whatever we can do to improve your experience. Over the past month you may of noticed some changes to the site. Some of these where cosmetic changes to update our content after Christmas, but others where brought about following feedback from you - our customers.

The most prominent of these changes can be found on the products pages. With a new layout to make it easier to find all the important information you need, as well as making it even easier to find what your looking for. We're also in the process of rolling out additional information, including care tips, materials and recycling info and more.

If you have any feedback or comments that you'd like to share, then feel free to drop us a message.

Enjoy the rest of your January.

Kind regards H&S Handmade Gifts
